I was recommended to give Greg a call in regards to doing a pre-purchase home inspection. The whole process was amazing, Greg was super easier to communicate with and was incredibly detailed and thorough in his inspection and report. If you choose to work with Greg you will know everything about your house, the good, the bad and the ugly (fingers crossed for you there's not to much ugly). He's also really easy to talk to, if you have any questions, are confused about anything he's saying, just don't know the lingo or in my case as someone who grew up in Northern Queensland, Australia and knows absolutely nothing about Heat Pumps, Electric Furnaces ect. He is more than happy to stop, show you and explain it until you understand.
Due to the incredible detail Greg goes into, it's made things like insurance applications go that much smoother due to all the extra information I had on hand. Which a huge bonus when the previous owner gives you none.

He showed up at the property promptly, despite the 2 hour travel time to our remote area and horrible travel weather. "Rain is the best weather for a house inspection!" he said enthusiastically. Greg was an absolute pleasure to work with. He knows what he’s doing and it shows. My husband is an electrician, so they were able to use trade talk, but Greg still took the time with me to explain things in the inspection of our new home that I didn’t quite understand. You know you hired the right home inspector when he greets you in coveralls and a respirator. It was evident he was getting into all the nooks and crannies of this older heritage home. His digital report included pictures and detailed information. We spent a solid hour or more going through the home with Greg. He made sure we understood both the good and the bad pieces of the home. He’s passionate about doing a good job for his clients and obviously enjoys it. His home inspection pointed out a handful of issues that our insurance provider didn’t like. In the end, we couldn’t get insurance and had to back away from the purchase. We will definitely be using him for future home purchases.
